Since 2009 members of Agape Community moved to Kungwe to start the Youth Formation Centre. They form the Kungwe Community having their own rules. Members are all single, men and women, who have dedicated their lives to God, led by the Holy Spirit, to serve others in their spiritual needs. They live together as a family.

Actually we are a Community of nine members, with one in formation in Agape, and one chaplain.

Jumuiya ya Kungwe ni tawi la Jumuiya ya Agape Centre. Kati ya Jumuiya hizo mbili kuna tofauti kidogo jinsi wanavyoishi kwa sababu ya mazingira tofauti.

Jumuiya ya Kungwe ni jumuiya ya walei waseja, wanaume na wanawake, wanaoishi pamoja kwa upendo  kwa ajili ya kumtukuza Mungu kwa maisha yao na kwa kazi zao. Kabla Jua linapotoka, tenzi za sifa zao zinapanda mbinguni. Jua linapowaka wanafanya kazi shambani na nyumbani, kulima na kutunza mifugo, kufundisha, kuongoza mafungo, kuwapokea wageni, n.k. Baada ya Jua kutua nyimbo za shukrani zao zinasikika hata katika usiku.

Sala ya kuombea wito kwa ajili ya Jumuiya ya Kungwe

Ee Bwana Yesu, ulimwomba Mungu Baba akupatie wafuasi wake, yaani Mitume, wakae nawe wafanye kazi nawe, waendeleze kazi yako. Baba yako amekujibu, ulikaa na Mitume wako kwa miaka mitatu, ukawafundisha na kuwawezesha kwa nguvu ya Roho Mtakatifu kuwaletea watu wokovu.

Ee Bwana Yesu, tunakuomba utupatie wanajumuiya wa Kungwe. Wawe Wakristo kweli; waliojitoa kwake kuishi kama wewe katika useja na usafi kamili wa moyo; watu wanaotawaliwa kabisa na Roho Mtakatifu; wasiotafuta sifa zao wala faida yao; walio tayari maishani mwao mwote kufanya kazi kwa sifa ya utukufu wa Mungu Baba.

Ee, Bwana Yesu, Kituo cha Kungwe kiwe mahali pa amani, furaha na upendo. Watu wote wafikao kituoni wakutane nawe katika wanajumuiya. Wajifunze kukupenda wewe na wenzao na kutimiza mapenzi yako daima katika maisha yao. Kituo kiwe mahali pa uponyaji na kuwekwa huru. Huzuni, uchungu na kinyongo vitolewe. Uwajaze mioyo yao na upendo wa Roho Mtakatifu.

Ee Bwana Yesu, Bikira Maria, mama yako na mama yetu wa Kungwe, atuombee ili Mungu Baba asifiwe katika maisha yetu hapa Kungwe. Tuendelee kupendana, kufanya kazi kwa furaha, kuwa watumishi wa Mungu, kutafuta kumpendeza katika yote kama alivyompendeza kwa maisha yake.Tunaomba hayo kwa Jina lako, unayeishi daima na milele. Form ya kujiandikisha

Makusudi ya Kituo cha Kungwe ni kujenga misingi ya maisha ya ki-roho ya Wakristo, kwa njia ya kazi, sala, mafundisho na nidhamu ya maisha. Kituo hiki kinalenga Wakarismatiki tu waliomaliza semina ya maisha ya ki-roho na semina ya makuzi, waliomtolea Yesu maisha yao lakini, bado wana kiu ya kujhiendeleza ki-roho. Kinawakaribisha hasa vijana, wavulana na wasichana (wenye umri isiyopunguka miaka 21), hata watu wazima (umri usiyozidi 45) wanaotaka kujifunza zaidi, kwa muda wa mwaka mmoja, misingi ya maisha yak i-roho, kukua katika imani yao ya ki-katoliliki, kujijengea nidhamu kwa maisha ya mbele na kudumu katika huduma zao.

Gharama: Tunaomba T.shs 100 ,000/- ziwe akiba yako kwa ajili ya matibabu. Ni mali yako. Kama una bima, fika na bima yako, lakini fedha utaihitaji bado kwa ajili ya usafiri. Shule itaanza kwa Semina, ‘Je, unatangaza Injili kwa furaha ?’, tarehe 1/08/2025 hadi 7/08/2025. Ada ya Semina ni 50 :000/- tu. Wakati wa Semina hiyo tutafanya uchunguzi. Wale watakaokubaliwa kufuata Shule watabaki moja kwa moja.

 Hakuna malipo kwa shule, yaani hutalipa ada wala kulipwa, bali utafanya kazi asubuhi kutimiza amri ya Mungu : « Kwa jasho la uso wako utakula chakula » Mwa 3 :19. Mchana utafundishwa, utapata nafasi ya kusoma Neno la Mungu na kukaa kimya mbele ya Mungu Baba : « Ingia katika chumba chako cha ndani na ukiisha kufunga mlango wako, usali mbele za Baba yako aliyesirini », Mt 6 :6. Kila mwezi utaweza kwenda jangwani kukaa peke yako mbele ya Mungu kati ya viumbe na kumsikiliza.

Ukitaka kujiunga tafadhali ujaze fomu iliyochapwa chini hapa, na uitume mapema kwa anwani iliyoandikwa hapa juu. Kituo kinaweza kupokea watu 16 tu, kwa ajili ya mafanikio makubwa.

Our purpose to start

Kungwe Formation Centre

Our purpose is multiple: To start a Youth Formation Centre, a Retreat Centre called Kana Centre, hostel to accommodate those with spiritual problems, Sisters houses, a Church, a farm to produce food for the Centre, different workshops, and so on. To this day we have implemented some of our purposes:

Youth Formation Centre

1. The first aim of starting this Youth Formation Centre was to discover God in the middle of nature. So many youth are attracted by the life of the big cities and lost all contact with nature and subsequently with God the Creator.
2. The second aim was to help them to lay the foundation of their spiritual lives. This Centre is welcoming young people – even adults – men and women, who want to learn more, for a full year, the principles of the spiritual life, to grow in their faith, to be trained to a discipline life and to go on to serve others. They do so by working manually, praying in the midst of creation and being taught.
3. Because of the aim of this Centre we receive only a limited amount of people. In May 2009, ten people were welcome to start the first year. In the subsequent years we received more, according to the demands, from all over Tanzania and from Kenya.

To create a Place of praying in the midst of creation

1. We have asked a big plot in order to be able to build small houses for those who are looking for a quiet place in front of God.
2. Meanwhile we are able to receive those who look for a place of rest, to pray to the Lord of creation, walk in the nature and enjoy the environment.
3. Each year we receive hundreds of young people, mature men and women, who spend several days in praying, fasting and watching. To this purpose we built three sheds in the midst of the forest.

To start a farm for providing food for the Centre

1. Part of the land is used for building, cultivating, farming and others activities.
2. We have started to have some cattle in small number: goats, pigs and cows to provide us with milk and meat. We raise chicken, turkeys and so on.
3. We have started a vegetable garden, an orchard and a tree nursery for fruit trees and trees for building.
4. We have started bee’s keeping on a very small scale. We are waiting for some of us to follow courses on bee’s keepings in order to develop this important activity for Tanzania farmers.
5. In creating a small bond for providing water for human and cattle needs, in the same time we are raising fishes.
6. We have installed a posho mill for our own use and to fulfill the needs of some villagers living nearby.

 To start a Carpenter Workshop

One member of  the community was a carpenter. He joined us for a few years. He started a carpenter workshop with the necessary machines to work properly. He has formed two  young people who have taken over his job.

 To care for the environment

1. The remaining hectares of the land, about 200 hectares, will be a ‘Reserve’ for flora and fauna. To look for the environment is very important for us and for the good of many, especially for the good of the next generation. Trees are cleaning the atmosphere by reducing the emission of the Carbonite gaz, attracting rain, and keeping water in the ground. That’s why we try:
2. To prevent people to cut tree without prior permission and above all without planting new ones. However, as we have seen during these few years, the main ennemy of the forests is fire. So we will use all our power to prevent the forests to be destroyed by fire.
3. To create small ponds. This will supply, during the dry season, drinking water for wild animals.

 For the near future

To build a Community/Retreat Centre

In the near future we will build 20 self contained houses comprising one room with two beds, showers, toilets and veranda.  This will be the Community Centre, especially designed for seminars, retreats and so on

 To build a Mental Health Centre

In our proposed Health Centre, we will provide the following services:

1. Health education about HIV, prevention and treatment.
2. Health education on prevention and treatment about sexual transmitted disease
3. Health education, Prevention and treatment on Tuberculosis
4. Treatment of mental disorders
5. Counselling on those matters above and guidance on spiritual matters.

 To build houses for caring for those spiritually disturbed and for Sisters

1. On the premises we will also a hostel fot receive those who are spirituall disturbed and have no way to go to be prayed over for a long time.
2. Plans are on the way to get sisters who will care for all the needs of these people and others. We will have to build their houses, and also a small dispensary.
3. For the spiritual needs of those living in the campus we will build a church.

To build a dam

We have made plans, draws map and the necessary survey to build a big reserve water which will be able to provide water for 1.000 villagers all the year around. This project is under the supervision of the Morogoro District. It is on the way to be implemented as the title deed has been  granted. Money will be provided by NGO, Banks and Government.
